Our Background
Founder and President Pat Huber started producing Christian programming
in the Lehigh Valley in 1979 on Twin County Cable, Now RCN of PA.
She produced 2 programs, Sonshine People, a talk variety show, and
Sonny Farms, a Childrens show with a Farm setting. In 1985
Pat incorporated and formed Sonshine Family Television Corporation,
and applied to the FCC for a full power TV license in Bethlehem,
PA. Through many struggles and many prayers, WBPH signed on December
27th 1990 and began broadcasting Christian and Family programming
to the Lehigh Valley area. In 2002, with FCC approval, WBPH increased
to full power and expanded its signal to include Philadelphia.
