Positively Different Television
Today’s television viewers are constantly faced with programming that is filled with negative messages, and built around themes that are unsuitable for almost every audience.

That’s why WBPH is Positively Different Television. Our programming, whether produced in our own studio, acquired, or from our network FamilyNet, WBPH provides a balanced selection of Family and Christian shows designed to entertain, educate and uplift.

Positively Local Programming For Our Communities!
WBPH opens its studio’s to local organizations with the goal of increasing the awareness of local church outreaches and other Non-profit and family oriented organizations. WBPH is a conduit of a Positive Message, a medium which Church and local organizations can reach into the home and impact their own communities. WBPH is committed to Positive local programming and since 1990 we have broadcast over 5000 such local shows.

FamilyNet Delivers For WBPH!
For the absolute finest in family “Values Added” programming, WBPH looks to our Network, FamilyNet. FamilyNet is WBPH’s main program source and for good reason. With the recent completion of an FCC approved power increase to Full Power, WBPH currently reaches 1.8 million homes throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania, including the city of Philadelphia and its suburbs (The Nations 4th largest TV Market). As a result there is an incredible opportunity to reach our communities! WBPH is the only TV Station in the Southeastern PA region dedicated to Positive Programming with a Christian Emphasis.

Improving Our Communities

WBPH has professional studio facilities available for production, and it is the goal of WBPH to increase the awareness of Ministries and non-profit organizations in an effort to further spread the “Good News.”

Our Background
Founder and President Pat Huber started producing Christian programming in the Lehigh Valley in 1979 on Twin County Cable, Now RCN of PA. She produced 2 programs, Sonshine People, a talk variety show, and Sonny Farms, a Children’s show with a Farm setting. In 1985 Pat incorporated and formed Sonshine Family Television Corporation, and applied to the FCC for a full power TV license in Bethlehem, PA. Through many struggles and many prayers, WBPH signed on December 27th 1990 and began broadcasting Christian and Family programming to the Lehigh Valley area. In 2002, with FCC approval, WBPH increased to full power and expanded its signal to include Philadelphia.
